Rexhep Rexhepi’s First Collaboration
Complications Redefined

An encounter of Masters
As part of an exclusive collaboration for the Louis Vuitton Watch Prize for Independent Creatives, Louis Vuitton and Rexhep Rexhepi collaborated on the LVRR-01 Chronographe à Sonnerie, a double-faced watch blending Louis Vuitton's iconic Tambour case with Rexhep Rexhepi’s horological mastery. Featuring a tourbillon and a chronograph with a minute-chiming mechanism, the LVRR-01 is a tribute to innovation and tradition, uniting two distinct creative universes in a single extraordinary creation.

A Symphony of Complications
The LVRR-01 combines a tourbillon, and a chronograph with its own chiming mechanism, a first in wristwatch history. The tinted sapphire dial on the front reveals intricate mechanisms, including the tourbillon, while the reverse boasts a grand feu enamel counter for the chronograph. These twin faces symbolize the union of contemporary and classical aesthetics. Striking with each elapsed minute, every chime resonates with precision, marking the passage of time with grace, powered by a dual-train movement engineered for synergy and reliability.

Unparalleled Craftsmanship
The platinum case, inspired by mid-century elegance, represents the combined mastery of ATELIER AKRIVIA and Louis Vuitton. Handcrafted by legendary case maker Jean-Pierre Hagmann, it features chamfered edges, hand-hammered details on the crown and pusher, and the “JHP” hallmark. Every element, from the enameled cubes on the sapphire dial to the bespoke trunk that houses the watch, reflects an uncompromising dedication to artistry and detail.

A Unique Timepiece in Every Way
Accompanied by a hand-painted Louis Vuitton trunk and a natural cowhide strap, the LVRR-01 is as unique as its creators. With elements such as the plique-à-jour enamel on the dial crafted by Louis Vuitton’s workshops, the watch is a true testament to collaboration and innovation. Bearing the distinctive “AKRILVIA” logo, the LVRR-01 stands as a rare and timeless celebration of two legendary Maisons coming together to redefine the art of watchmaking.
