For the 2019 ONLY WATCH auction, Rexhep Rexhepi presented an extraordinary, one-of-a-kind timepiece: a platinum Chronomètre Contemporain I featuring a hand-hammered grand feu enamel dial in a striking blue-grey hue. The dial, a true work of art, was meticulously crafted using the traditional grand feu enamel technique, where each layer of enamel is carefully applied and fired at high temperatures to achieve a flawless finish. The result was a captivating surface with remarkable depth and luminosity, showcasing the exceptional skill of the artisans at REXHEP REXHEPI. Crisp white enamel markings provided a perfect contrast, enhancing its visual impact.

This unique dial was paired with a platinum case, manufactured by the renowned Geneva-based casemaker, Jean-Pierre Hagmann. Known for his unparalleled craftsmanship, Hagmann’s ensured the case was both aesthetically stunning and technically impeccable. This exceptional creation was part of the biannual ONLY WATCH auction, a highly anticipated event in the watchmaking world. ONLY WATCH brings together leading maisons and independent ateliers to donate unique pieces in support of research into Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). Proceeds from the auction fund vital studies into this rare and debilitating genetic disorder affecting young boys. NEW OPENING | THE APPRENTICESHIP WORKSHOP

The apprenticeship workshop, inspired by Rexhep Rexhepi’s formative training under Jean-Marc Figols and now led by Figols himself, has opened as a dedicated space where traditional watchmaking skills, values, and craftsmanship are carefully taught and passed on to the next generation.
